Rich + spicy, for those cozy winter days.
Spice up your weekend with this tasty twist on our Mocha SuperLatte. This recipe was inspired by traditional Mexican hot chocolate.
2-3 tbsp Mocha SuperLatte
1 cup plant milk
3 tbsp coconut cream
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4-1/2 tsp cayenne
1/8-1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
*Sweeten to taste (we used agave but anything will work!)
Place all the ingredients except the SuperLatte and sweetener in a saucepan.
Bring that to a simmer for 10 minutes or until the flavors develop to where you like them.
Once the heat is turned off, add the Mocha SuperLatte and sweeten to your liking.
Serve like this, or add a scoop of whipped coconut cream and garnish with a sprinkle of cayenne and cinnamon for a more decadent touch.
