I was excited to try this, but wouldn't order again. I thought for the amount of product (4 Tablespoons per 6 oz water!), it didn't actually have a strong flavor. I will stick with the matcha and chai in the future.
Although it is not my favorite flavor, the rose cacao super latte is a delicious treat to enjoy at the end of the day.
I was excited to see this new flavor and added it to my Matcha subscription order. Sadly it isn't for me! I have tried every flavor and this is actually my least favorite. The balance of ingredients was just off for my taste. The cardamom overpowered the rose, and it's more bitter than sweet. I normally like less sweet drinks, but in this case I think more sweetness would help avoid the bitter aftertaste. I also didn't love that the serving suggestion is more powder to achieve the ideal taste - I do think that's necessary so it doesn't taste watery, but it means the bag doesn't go as far as the other flavors (10 servings vs 14, unless you want to make smaller cups). I hope to see more cacao variations in the future though!
I was in a car accident and am focused on healing. The Rose Cacao SuperLatte has become a vital part of my day - it helps me to feel centered and nourished.
I was first drawn to the Rose Cacao Latte, and decided to also try to Golden and Match Lattes as well. Out of the three, my favorite is the Golden, which surprised me because I've used turmeric in my cooking for years and know it can have a bitter taste. This latte is not too sweet, and is perfect for an afternoon pick-me-up that doesn't have caffeine.
